Seema’s Grilled Chicken Breasts


½ onion (minced or 2 shallots)

½ cup lemon juice

1½ tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp white wine vinegar

1 tbsp honey

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 cloves of garlic (minced)

¼ – 1/3 cup light olive oil

Salt/ pepper

Hot sauce


1)      Flatten chicken between 2 sheets of plastic wrap or in Ziploc bag

2)      Pour marinate over chicken and place in Ziploc bag

3)      Marinate for 2 hours (4-5 hours is better)

4)      Cook chicken 7-8 minutes per side brushing with marinate
